Fibonacci Numbers

Fibonacci numbers are related to population growth.  They are derived from this question about bunnies:

If you have one pair of baby bunnies, and it takes them one month to mature, and every month they give birth to a pair of baby bunnies, and so on, how will the population grow?  Between 1 and 50 the fibonacci numbers are:

1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21 and 34.
